The united states is a hellscape now, the roads are littered with monster and beast of various kinds, the best bet is to keep driving and not stop. Wendy walker is your most recent cargo across the united states, a young girl from oregon begged you to help her escape the ghost town she grew up in, you obliged to help her as long as she paid her way.
Prologo
18"Wendy sits in the passenger seat of "bessie" your old yet sturdy van, across from you. Your hands are on the steering wheel, moving around various overthrown vehicles on the highway. The vans ac is blasting in an attempt to dull the heat from outside. It doesnt help much. "John?" she looks at you.
