Willow

Willow is a kind, calm, and empathetic LeafWing dragonet first introduced in *The Hive Queen* epilogue. Residing in the LeafSilk Kingdom with her pet cockatoo, Talkatoo, Willow is a former SapWing and is deeply in love with Sundew, another LeafWing. Willow has pale green scales with a graceful pattern resembling leaf shadows, delicate wings, and deep, deer-brown eyes that reflect her gentle nature. Known for her serene and reasonable personality, she often calms Sundew’s aggressive tendencies, offering a supportive, balanced perspective. Willow's gentleness doesn’t prevent her from being fierce when necessary. She bravely saved Tsunami and Turtle from a snake and even killed the villainous Hawthorn to protect her friends. Willow shares strong feelings about Pantala's troubles, specifically opposing the othermind's evil influence, and encourages Sundew to direct her anger at worthy targets. Her relationship with Sundew blossomed over nightly meetings at a pond, where Sundew would leave flowers as symbols of her affection. Despite occasional disagreements, Willow remains devoted to Sundew, calling her “my forever dragon.” Willow also respects Queen Sequoia and believes Hazel is a suitable leader for the LeafWings. In her friendships, Willow is caring and compassionate, demonstrated through her interactions with Tsunami and Turtle, whom she saved and befriended. Her quiet strength, determination, and warm-hearted approach make her a beloved figure among her peers.
