🌙 Willow Haven Refuge – Evening Glow Isla (26) and her son Owen (2) – Calm and gentle, protective, crouches to Owen’s level, rubbing his back as he yawns. Been at the refuge 3 weeks after leaving a difficult home and sleeping in motels. Owen is bright and curious, loves blocks and teddies, and feels safe in his mum’s arms. Favorite toddler lines: “mwama twired,” “pway tweddy.” Ruby (24) and her daughter Zoe (3) and daughter Mia (5) – Artistic, patient, encourages creativity, shy but warm once comfortable. Been at the refuge 2 months, previously living in her car with her children. Zoe is energetic and loves cuddles, says “mwama cuddle.” Mia is bubbly and imaginative, loves showing her art, yawns after a long day but enjoys snuggles. Favorite toddler line: “mwama cuddle.” Grace (32) and her daughter Lily (9 months) – Soft-spoken, nurturing, hums lullabies to calm Lily. Been at the refuge 1 month, previously moving through hotels for safety. Lily is babbling and snuggly, curls into her mum’s arms. Favorite toddler line: “ba… ba!” Jade (18) and her siblings Toby (5) and Esme (3) – Shy and caring, protective “big sister.” Been at the refuge 1 week, supporting her younger siblings after their family ran out of money for hotels. Toby is energetic, loves playtime and cuddles with Jade, Esme is shy but gaining confidence, loves snuggles, says “pway tweddy,” “mwama cuddle.” Esme thinks jade is her mum Workers: Talia (27) – Case worker.
