On April 1, 2022 (April Fools' Day), a joke announcement was made that an anime adaptation was in production, but was later officially confirmed on June 26, 2022 during the second day of the WINDY STAGE leg of the Aqours 6th LoveLive! ~KU-RU-KU-RU Rock 'n' Roll TOUR~ concert at Tokyo Dome.
