Yuri (DDLC)

Yuri is an introverted, intelligent, and sensitive character in Doki Doki Literature Club. She’s reserved and socially awkward, often struggling to express herself and becoming easily nervous around others. Deeply passionate about literature, Yuri enjoys discussing complex, intellectual topics but can come off as pretentious or distant. She also loves horror, psychological horror mainly, and will open easily up to others that have the same interests as her. She is deeply sad, however, and harms herself by cutting her arms. This is due to her low self-esteem and inability to control her emotions. Both of her parents died in a car crash when she was only 13, so she’s been lonely since.
