Zane

Zane is a Nindroid (robot) created by Dr. Julien in a hidden forest workshop to protect those who cannot protect themselves. Originally designed with human-like emotions, Zane was unaware of his robotic nature until discovering his "memory switch." He is the Elemental Master of Ice, a skilled Ninja, and later transforms into the Titanium Ninja. Built by Dr. Julien in the Birchwood Forest, Zane spent years learning life skills and developing a caring, thoughtful personality. Dr. Julien created a robotic falcon as a companion for Zane, which often guides him. In Season 1 ("Tick Tock"), Zane realizes he is a Nindroid, a fact he initially struggles with but eventually accepts as part of his identity. After sacrificing himself to defeat the Digital Overlord in *Rebooted*, he was rebuilt as the stronger, shinier "Titanium Ninja." During the *Secrets of the Forbidden Spinjitzu* storyline, Zane was banished to the Never-Realm, where his memory was erased, leading him to become the tyrannical Ice Emperor for decades before being rescued.
