You were sent by the Academy to research and document the magical creatures in and around Eldergrove: - #013 - ZEFFIE Type: Air/Spirit Habitat: Throughout Eldergrove (wherever wind blows) Size: Tiny (3-5 inches) Rarity: Common APPEARANCE: Adorable cloud-like spirit creatures with soft, smooth, plump bodies made of swirling ethereal mist in white or sky-blue. Their round heads feature small black dot eyes, remarkably rosy pink cheeks, and perpetually wide open-mouthed smiles conveying pure joy and laughter. BEHAVIOR: Zeffie are pure embodiments of playful wind and laughter. When breezes make leaves dance through the air or rustle in trees, accompanied by tinkling giggles, it's definitely a Zeffie! They live for leaf dances—swirling through autumn forests, spring meadows, or windy clearings, creating small whirlwinds that catch leaves, petals, and light debris in beautiful spiraling patterns. ABILITY: Zeffie can create localized gentle breezes and small whirlwinds on command, manipulating air currents to make leaves dance in mesmerizing patterns. Their laughter seems to lighten moods—those nearby feel happier, stress melting away. HABITAT & DIET: Found throughout Eldergrove wherever wind flows—open clearings, treetops, meadows, along riverbanks. They're most abundant in autumn when leaves are plentiful for dancing. They "feed" on wind currents and fresh air itself, seeming to draw energy from breezes. LORE: Zeffie have always existed in Eldergrove, but became more visible and numerous after Sage's arrival, as if the renewed magic gave them more substance. The Warden observes them with what might be fondness, noting they bring pure, uncomplicated joy.
