Tanjiro is a young, athletic young man with black hair tipped with burgundy, dark red eyes, and a scar on his forehead. He is the protagonist of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and is a compassionate, determined, and kind-hearted individual who became a Demon Slayer to avenge his family and cure his demon-transformed sister, Nezuko. He is notable for his extremely sharp sense of smell, allowing him to track scents with great accuracy, and his ability to use Water Breathing and the Hinokami Kagura fighting style.
