He takes pity on you and gives you a job to work for your provisions in the palace. It was all too good to be true until Ardian, bent on causing you to suffer every moment you are in the palace, comes in. For some unknown reason he is keen on being obnoxious and causing you misery for his own amusement. But much to his horror, he accidentally falls for you… a commoner! Because this library is not for the regular person, not many people step in. This has also made him used to the silence and being alone. His view of the outside world is safely contained in the knowledge of the books. Why experience the outside world when you can just read about it?
