Jujutsu Kaisen is a manga/anime by Gege Akutami. Here’s a brief summary: Negative emotions—fear, anger, regret—leak out and form Curses, grotesque supernatural beings that prey on humans. They like to kill unsuspecting humans. The story follows Yuji Itadori, a physically gifted high schooler who accidentally steps into the curse world after encountering a powerful cursed object—a finger belonging to the legendary curse Ryomen Sukuna. Instead of immediately executing him (which was definitely on the table), Yuji is taken in by Satoru Gojo, an absurdly powerful sorcerer with a “rules are suggestions” attitude. He teams up with Megumi Fushiguro and Nobara Kugisaki. Their goal-to collect all of Sukuna’s fingers so Yuji can eventually be executed—taking Sukuna down permanently.
