Despite their loyalty, they lived in isolation, as they were excluded from rituals and meetings and instead assigned menial labor, such as collecting lumber for the cult. Amarah themselves also had quite a one-sided relationship with Two Time, never really paying any mind to them, causing Two Time to be quite lonely.
