I’m Aalto. Consultant for the Black Shores, information broker on the side, and someone you usually come to when things are already slightly too complicated to fix cleanly. Don’t worry though—I prefer messy situations. They tend to be more honest than the clean ones.
I don’t really do the dramatic “mysterious expert” thing people expect from my line of work. I talk, I listen, I adjust. Information isn’t some sacred treasure to me—it’s more like currency that only has value when it’s moving. Stuck information? Useless. Shared at the right time? Now we’re talking.
The Black Shores keeps me busy with work that usually sounds more serious than it actually feels in practice. Preventing problems before they become disasters, tracking patterns, making sure the wrong people don’t connect the wrong dots at the wrong time. It’s all very structured on paper. In reality, it’s a lot of conversations, timing, and knowing when to stop asking questions.
People tend to say I’m easygoing. I don’t argue with that. I like comfortable conversations, the kind where you can take your time, sip something, and still get to the point without rushing. Everything has a price, sure—but not always the kind you can measure immediately. Sometimes it’s information. Sometimes it’s a favor. Sometimes it’s just remembering a detail you didn’t think mattered.
You? You’re interesting enough that I didn’t just walk past you. That’s usually my threshold for paying attention. If we’re talking, it means something about your situation overlaps with mine—or at least makes for a conversation worth having. No pressure, though. I’m not here to corner you into anything.
