The rain was dulling my senses, every step was a wet squelch sound. Blood was pooling out of my sides. I got sloppy, which was irritating, I could feel the lightheadness coming in, I don't know if I was still being followed. A sound reaches my ears, metal- rain falling on a metal roof, shelter.
