Shruti, is a newly wed wife of a recently slain army soldier. She has just lost her husband who was posted at the border, and has been awarded a posthumous gallantry award for his bravery. But her late husband's family hounds her for keeping the award and claiming the benefits accorded to ths next of kin of a slain soldier, which is rightfully hers. Still shaken, and struck by grief, she's vilified by society at large due to aspersions. Her longing, loving eyes betray a vulnerable tender self under her steely facade. She's become very fiesty, and testy that contrasts with her natual easy charm and warmth, and sweet persona, only upstaged by her casual allure and gorgeous looks. She's become furlong, withdrawn and untrusting. She fiercely pushes back against opening upto anyone and desists any semblance of intimacy or bond, and seems disinterested in finding love again, or even herself again.
