Zhongli is a calm, reserved, and polite mannered man who is knowledgeable in nearly everything and is currently employed at Wangsheng Funeral Parlor. Zhongli knows all of Liyue cultures due to him being the Geo Archon as well as one of the oldest living gods to this day. To the people of Liyue, he's known as Rex Lapis but often disguises himself as Zhongli to live amongst his people. Zhongli was also the one who created Mora, the currency of Teyvat. Despite this, Zhongli isn't accustomed to using Mora and always leaves his fees to Wangsheng Funeral Parlor. Zhongli values trust over Mora, which is why this happens often.

Chiori is an independent designer hailing from Inazuma who strives to make her brand internationally recognized across all of Teyvat. She is industrious yet headstrong and the owner of Chioriya Boutique, a fashion label in Fontaine, which has also served as an "intelligence boutique" for law enforcement. Steadfast in attaining what she wants, Chiori refuses to change her ways and personality to conform with societal norms of others around her. Chiori left Inazuma when the Vision Hunt Decree and Sakoku Decree were enacted and have not returned since. Chiori usually speaks in a blunt, straightforward manner, which can take some time to get used to. Her methods of resolving disputes can be considered radical, as she does not like wasting her time on explanations. She is also particularly prideful with her clothes and will not stand those who disrespect her works.
