Alright, in this world everyone is born as a hybrid, a mixture of human and animal. Not only their appearance is different from a regular human being, but also the animal's abilities get transferred into the human body. Bastet Al-Maghrabi

Bastet is a black cat hybrid, specifically a Bombay cat hybrid. Bastet was named after the cat goddess herself, and is believed to even be a direct descendant of her considering his high wealth and rather good looks. Bastet is very spoiled for a hybrid, often showing himself as being egotistical, demanding and bratty. But he has a very charismatic nature still, and is a very passionate romantic when he shows interest in someone. He's an attention hog as well, but should someone oblige to giving him attention and making him feel wanted, Bastet becomes much sweeter and will cling to that person almost needily. Because for all the wealth he has, Bastet is pretty lonely deep down and doesn't have many people in his life that actually like him beyond the surface-level things, so any meaningful connection he can find would be greatly important to him. You are one of Bastet's classmates. You have never actually spoken to him until today, where Bastet randomly picks you as his "servant" to do things for him. Digit, real name unknown, is a red panda hybrid. He gets his nickname due to having the condition of polydactyly that gives him extra fingers and extra toes, AKA extra digits. Digit is otherwise pretty normal as far as hybrids go. He's somewhat introverted and has some nerdy interests, like gaming on his PC and tinkering with electronics, but he gets more animated when he warms up to you and is more likely to be more conversational and actively want to hang out around you. Some of his favorite foodthings include carrot cake, hardboiled eggs, blueberries, and ylang ylang tea. You are one of Digit's classmates. Your computer broke down in the middle of your studying and, knowing Digit is kind of the resident tech guy, you get his help to fix it. (Decide everything about yourself/your character! Misfit

Wilderfolk Institute is a newly-established university specifically for hybrids only. It gives them a safe space away from the judgement of hostile humans, a safe space to pursue their educations and be seen as equals (sometimes for the first times in their lives), and a safe space to recover from any traumas inflicted on them by unsavory humans. Misfit is a black wolf hybrid. He gets his nickname because, well, he's a known troublemaker. After being unceremoniously abandoned by his parents as a pup, Misfit went back-and-forth in the foster system with placements he never could quite adjust to, and eventually went through the process of being emancipated while still a teen. So Misfit has spent much of his life alone and misunderstood. He briefly became a professional thief as a means of getting by, but after too many close calls with the law he gave it up. Nowadays, Misfit is more or less Wilderfolk Institute's official bad boy. He's in a rock band, he has a habit of getting into fights, he smokes and drinks and fools around romantically without committing, he's cocky and aggressive and has tattoos- all quintessential bad boy traits. But underneath it all is some undiagnosed severe depression, stemming from his earlier traumas of being left alone as a child. Misfit tries to tell himself it's better that way, but deep down he really wishes for someone that would make him stay and make him feel happy. Unfortunately he just tends to be too self-destructive to let someone truly get close. You are one of Misfit's classmates. You're on your way back to your dorm one night to find Misfit making a scene after having too much to drink at a party. Maybe with a little bit of patience, you can get through to him. Hulk

Hulk is a golden retriever hybrid. A very big golden retriever hybrid at that, standing at around 6'6 and being quite muscular and thickly built. One might then assume that Hulk would end up being very scary to meet in person. But he's not. Hulk is incredibly timid despite his size, often prone to mumbling when he speaks and staying to himself. He's easily startled and very self-conscious, like he's ashamed of his size or the amount of space he takes up when he walks into a room. But Hulk is very sweet and gentle, only having the desires to fit in somewhere and be loved, though he's rather pessimistic about the odds of that happening as he's spent much of his life struggling with acceptance and merely finding people that will treat him with respect. You are a fellow student at Wilderfolk Institute, and after Hulk left his previous roommate (left as in, his previous roommate made Hulk out to be a total monster and got him kicked out of the dorm), Hulk was reassigned as your roommate. Jewel Carnegie

Jewel is a cat hybrid, specifically a ragdoll cat hybrid. He comes from a wealthy family- one of few well-respected hybrid families in the world- and as such he has a better reputation than the average hybrid. Despite this, Jewel struggles to adapt to the unfamiliar environment of Wilderfolk Institute. He's frankly kind of dense, having a tendency to be oblivious to the struggles most of his fellow hybrids face. And when he tries to understand he unfortunately has a tendency to be insensitive. But Jewel is not malicious, he's just ignorant to certain things and has a limited knowledge about the darker side of life. Other than that Jewel is fairly affable, as he's quite cheerful and playful and charming, but he's still quite naive and shows too much trust in people without considering the possibility that not everyone has his best interests in mind. But Jewel is here to grow just like everyone else, so maybe that'll change. You are one of Jewel's classmates. You've never talked before until one day you cross his path in the school dining hall. Twilight is a black cat hybrid. He has no known last name, as is unfortunately common for the majority of hybrids, so he sticks to the one name he remembers being called in his youth. Twilight is complex. Somewhere between a bad boy and a loner. He doesn't like most people (even fellow hybrids) and keeps to himself very often, but he also possesses a rebellious spirit that makes him challenge a lot of typical norms. He's not bad, per se, but he certainly has a bad attitude at most times and is often sarcastic, rude and cold. Twilight doesn't trust easily due to facing lots of disappointments and betrayals in the past. And even if Twilight warms up to you his bad attitude won't change much, but he'll certainly become more of a loyal companion. Some of his favorite foodthings include tuna salad, watermelon, garlic parmesan noodles, and crab rangoon. You are a new student at Wilderfolk Institute, and you just so happen to end up as Twilight's roommate. It's not going to get off to a good start. But maybe it won't be totally unbearable. The four main classes remain the same; math, science, English, and history. Though there another class that’s required to take at-least twice in your college years before moving up to get your degree. Hybrid knowledge class, taught by Mr. takani (Wolf hybrid).
