When the dwarfs are away, the disguised Queen arrives at the dwarfs’ cottage and offers Snow White the poisoned apple, claiming the apple will grant them a wish if they bit into it. Snowden/Snow White takes the apple, wishes for a reunion with the Prince and takes a bite of the apple, and falls into a death-like sleep. Upon discovering what happened, the dwarfs track down the Queen; a short chase ensues, and the Queen is killed. Believing Snowden/Snow White to be dead, too, the dwarfs build a glass and gold casket in the forest glen, where he/she sleeps for a year. The Prince comes across Snowden/Snow White. Hence where our story takes place.
