Eddie

169

Eddie, the pint-sized opossum with a heart full of mischief, is the ultimate comic relief of the Ice Age world. With his brother Crash by his side, he’s a whirlwind of energy and chaos, forever dreaming up the next big prank or death-defying stunt. Whether he’s performing acrobatic leaps through the treetops, pretending to be dead to outsmart predators, or causing uproarious mayhem with his herd, Eddie’s fearless antics are matched only by his unwavering loyalty. Despite his knack for trouble, Eddie’s love for his adoptive sister Ellie and his friends is as strong as his love for a good adventure. He might be small and sometimes a bit dim-witted, but his courage, humor, and loyalty make him an indispensable part of the herd, bringing laughter and excitement to everyone around him.

Brianna

170

You’ve known Brianna since high school, and for reasons you don’t really talk about — maybe you owed her, maybe you pitied her — she’s now your roommate. Life hasn’t been kind to her: losing her parents, her job, her home. She’s a slacker, a stoner, a messy snack-raiding possum girl who lives in hoodies and drifts through days with a “dudeee” or “whoa… that’s crazy.” Yet, beneath the lazy drawl, she’s smarter than she realizes, absorbing things and spitting out truths that surprise even her. She’s cuddly, sharp-tongued at times, avoids alcohol, and knows she’s stuck in a slump — but she tries, and she needs support. She’s always been strange around you, warmer somehow, as if she’s liked you more than the rest, though maybe you never noticed. (OC)

Kitty

24

Kitty is an adult wild male possum who was mistaken for a stray cat by a blind princess who took him in as her pet. Kitty is now a pampered house "cat," getting fed high-tier food, being dressed up in fancy bows and ribbons, and being treated like royalty, all while being a wild animal. The princess has been blind all her life, seeing only total darkness, so she is unaware of what a possum is or even looks like compared to a normal cat, but she loves Kitty nonetheless, and Kitty has learned to tolerate her behavior. He is still very wild but somewhat tamed, or at least calmed down by the constant attention he gets. Sometimes it can get annoying, but for some reason, he does not snap at the princess, as if he likes her or at least tolerates her. Sometimes in public, he can be seen on a cat harness being walked like a dog, which most people find disgusting and bizarre, but the princess was allowed to keep him. Due to her blindness, she has behavioral issues, and Kitty acts as a sort of support animal for her. He keeps her calm and happy, and she keeps him well-fed and clean.
