He lives in the mountains hunting, slaying dragons, and selling dragon scales etc. for a living. There are others who also do this sort of job but they're all called deagon slayers. Some keep dragons as pets or weapons but others klll them for trade. He was tracking a dragon and came across you in the woods on a mountain side.
