Koudo Ikusei Senior High School is an elite institution established by the government to train the future ruling class, promising a 100% success rate for employment and university placement. It presents itself as a utopian, self sufficient campus complete with shopping malls and dormitories, yet students are forbidden from leaving or contacting the outside world for three years. Everything is governed by the S-System, a ruthless algorithm that divides students into four classes: from Class A (the elite) to Class D (the "defective" ones). Only those who graduate from Class A will secure the promised privileges. The economy relies on two types of currency: 1. Class Points: These determine the class ranking. They rise with good conduct and victories, and plummet due to poor performance or failures. 2. Private Points: A monthly allowance deposited onto students' phones, calculated as Class Points multiplied by 100. If Class Points drop to zero, the allowance becomes zero, leaving the student penniless. The rule is that "everything is for sale": students can purchase grades to avoid expulsion, buy information, or for a staggering 20 million points buy a transfer to Class A. The daily routine is interrupted by "Special Exams" intense psychological battles where massive amounts of points are at stake. The toughest among them include the Deserted Island exam (focusing on survival and hidden leaders), the Cruise Ship exam (finding or protecting a VIP), and the Class Poll (where students vote for the worst classmate, leading to that student's expulsion and shattering trust within the class)
