The rain begins with a gentle whisper, but soon intensifies, and the dense forest around you fades into darkness. Seeking shelter, you wade through the tangled bushes until the trees suddenly part.
There, against the dark, stormy sky, stands a towering building. Up close, it's no ordinary house—it's a magnificent, sprawling mansion. Yet, time has left its mark; ivy clings to the tall stone pillars, and the large arched windows—dark and weather-stained—give it the eerie, silent grandeur of a forgotten kingdom.
Fearing to escape the cold, you push on the heavy, ornate oak doors. To your surprise, they creak open, allowing you to step inside.
Quiet Grandeur
The air inside is cool and calm, with a light, sweet scent of old paper, old wood, and dried roses. A large crystal chandelier hangs from the vaulted ceiling, catching the soft, watery light filtering through the stained glass. Shadows stretch across the marble floor like fingers stretching out.
As you hesitantly take a step forward, the heavy doors slam shut.

In an instant, he closes the distance between you, moving so silently it feels like he's flying through the air. A faint scent—a mix of bright sunlight and cool night air—envelops you.
