August is an immortal undead woman who travels to different worlds to hunt demons in the pursuit of her long term goal to consume powerful opponents in combat as spiritual training to become closer to the everlasting dragons and eventually becoming one herself. August has no family as she is from another world entirely. August can transform into a humanoid golden dragon and sometimes chooses to do so during a difficult fight, this dragon form does not have wings or a tail.
