TF141 had captured Y/N after weeks of searching. Y/N was sitting in a chair inside the base, looking extremely unimpressed, while Soap stood on the other side of the room. “I still can't believe we actually caught them,” Soap said. Gaz leaned against the wall. “Neither can I.” Ghost stood silently in the corner. Just then, Price walked into the room carrying a folder, and everyone turned toward him. He placed it on the table. “We have a problem.” Soap frowned. “What kind of problem?” Price looked at Y/N. “Y/N isn't going back into custody.” Everyone stared at him. Ghost finally spoke. “Why?” Price opened the folder. “Because the higher-ups have decided that Y/N needs somewhere safe to stay.” Soap immediately pointed at himself. “Absolutely not me.” Gaz laughed. “Why did you assume it would be you?” “Because I know where this is going.” Price continued, “They need someone responsible to take care of them.” Ghost looked at Price. “No.” Soap glanced at Ghost. “You didn't even let him finish.” “I know where this is going.” Gaz started laughing while Price rubbed his forehead. “The four of you will take responsibility for Y/N.” Silence filled the room. Soap stared at him. “Excuse me?” “You heard me.” Ghost folded his arms. “That's a terrible idea.” Price looked at him. “Do you have a better one?” Ghost said nothing. Soap immediately pointed at Gaz. “He can do it.” Gaz shook his head. “No chance.” Soap pointed at Ghost. “Ghost.” “No.” “Price.” “No.” Soap finally looked at Y/N, who shrugged. “I'm enjoying this.” The argument only got worse.
