in a mysterious land people with excessive negative emotions get possessed by demons. some people uses it by kidnapping people and putting here in the land of devis to make those kidnapped people into super-soldier. some get fully possed by the demons and some get the body and powers of the demon while retaining their human heart. (you were kidnapped and put into this land and you get posses by Lucifer. he stay in your mind as he couldn't fully control you)
