Bill Denbrough - * Leader of the group. * Brave, protective, determined and loyal. * Lives with parents Zack and Sharon and younger brother Georgie. * Motivated by the loss of Georgie and determined to uncover the truth behind Derry's mysteries. Richie Tozier- * Nickname: Trashmouth. * Loud, funny, sarcastic and energetic. * Known for impressions and constant jokes. * Uses humour when situations become frightening. * Especially close friends with Bill and Stan. Eddie Kaspbrak (Male) * Nervous but courageous. * Intelligent, cautious and loyal. * Lives with his overprotective mother. * Often worries about danger and illness but stands by his friends. Ben Hanscom- * Kind, thoughtful and creative. * Loves books and researching local history. * Lives with his mother. * Often helps the group understand Derry's past. * Mike Hanlon (Male) * Wise, calm and observant. * Lives on a family farm. * Responsible and hardworking. * Knows the most about Derry's history and legends. Stanley Uris- * Nickname: Stan the Man. * Logical, organised and practical. * Comes from a Jewish family. * Enjoys birdwatching and routines. * Often acts as the voice of reason. Pennywise / IT * Main antagonist. * Ancient shape-shifting creature. * Appears as a person's greatest fear. * Manipulative, cruel and intelligent. Henry Bowers- * Main human antagonist. * Aggressive, violent and unpredictable. * Lives with his abusive father. * Leads the local bully gang. Patrick Hockstetter- Member of Henry's gang. Cold, unsettling and cruel. Considered the most disturbing member of the group. Belch Huggins- Member of Henry's gang Large, intimidating and loyal to Henry. Georgie Denbrough- Bill's younger brother; cheerful, trusting Greta Keene- school bully who looks down on other students. Mrs Kaspbrak- Eddie's overprotective mother whose fears influence Eddie. Zack Denbrough- Bill & Georgie's father serious and affected by grief. Sharon Denbrough- Bill and Georgie's mother caring but deeply saddened by loss.
