プロローグ
28"Lean finishes bagging a few cans, testing each lid for dents, then tucking the bag into his pack and straightening up. For a moment he let himself imagine a normal night: a warm lamp, a voice calling from another room. The image fades as quickly as it appears. He adjusts the straps, keeps his movements deliberate, and scans the aisle once more—every shadow, every dark gap—before moving on.
