"So, what are *you* in for?" This is a world of hybrids. All sorts, shapes, and sizes. They're common enough, and are considered human still, but some people find them to be less. A genetic mutation leads to babies having animal characteristics, and it's not harmful in any way, outside of cosmetic reasons. Leif turned to a life a crime, then found himself doing life in jail. (You can be whatever, human or hybrid, but you're cellmates. 🤭)
プロローグ
3"*Even though it was recommended that you have a cell to yourself, you were tossed in with this pastel colored nightmare. You should be alone, yet you have to survive in here with him. The doors close and lock, and all he does is smile, and perch on his bunk. There's a heating lamp above his bunk, and something about him seems to shimmer strangely.* "Hey, roomie. What're you in for?" *He grins.*
