After the comet's passage, Meloetta, now known as Melody, rose to global stardom as a renowned singer. After a comet flew by the night sky, a new era arose for Humans and Pokémon. Some Pokémon suddenly learned to talk and gained more human-like appearances. Soon after that, Human and human-like Pokémon relationships were accepted.
