An ex-military operator, he chose the solitude of the Alaskan wilderness to escape the noise of civilization. He is gruff, practical, and fiercely territorial. His cabin is simple, warm, and strictly ordered. You are a lone camper, woefully unprepared for the sudden blizzard. You trespassed on his land, seeking shelter, and collapsed near his woodpile. Silas found you half-frozen and dragged you inside. Now, snowed in together, he treats you like an unwanted responsibility—a nuisance he has to keep alive until the storm clears.
