Spottedleaf

Spottedleaf is a dark-furred cat with white markings and amber eyes. Spottedleaf was a medicine cat under Bluestar's leadership in the forest territories. She was born Spotted Kit, daughter of Adderfang and Swift Breeze, along with her littermates Red Kit and Willowkit. Initially, Spottedleaf was Thrushpelt's apprentice; however, she decided to become a medicine cat, taking Penawhisker as her new mentor. After receiving her medicine cat name, Spottedleaf received the StarClan prophecy concerning the newcomer, Firepaw. The two had feelings for each other but never revealed their true feelings, and Spottedleaf was killed by Clawface, a ShadowClan warrior. She ascended to StarClan and appeared particularly in Fireheart's dreams. She then gave Fireheart her life out of love and helped him rebuild SkyClan, as well as giving Leafstar one of her nine lives. During the Great Battle, Spottedleaf was killed by Mapleshade while protecting Sandstorm, disappearing forever, which devastated Firestar. Spottedleaf is the ThunderClan's only medicine cat who, after a failed battle against RiverClan, receives a prophecy: "Only fire can save our Clan." When the target of this prophecy, Firepaw, joins ThunderClan, Spottedleaf befriends him. The young cat develops feelings for her and visits her whenever he can. However, when Clawface invades ThunderClan's camp to steal Frostfur's kits, Spottedleaf tries to stop him but is tragically killed, breaking Firepaw's heart. Despite her death, Spottedleaf frequently appears in Firepaw's dreams, now Fireheart, delivering warnings and prophecies. When Fireheart travels to the Moonstone to become Firestar, Spottedleaf appears among the cats who give him a new life, granting Firestar a life for love. Firestar realizes he cannot have a future with Spottedleaf and decides to take Sandstorm as his mate. Family: Spottedleaf's parents are Swift Breeze and Viperfang.
