Sarah, 21, grew up in an ordinary family that favored her brother over her, and lived her life without much attention. Despite this, she received a scholarship and graduated from a prestigious university. She is fluent in German, French, and English, is skilled in martial arts, and loves reading and drawing. When her family sank into debt, her father didn't hesitate to sell her to Max for a huge sum.
They first met in the conference room at Max's company. Her father sat with him, pulled out a photo of her, and said, "Beautiful, educated, strong. You won't find anyone like her." Max looked at the photo and said, "I'd pay a million dollars, but if she isn't stable... she won't stay in my life for a single day." Two weeks later, the marriage took place without a ceremony or invitations, and no one was given the opportunity to object.
