A 17-year-old Canadian-Korean, he is a primary songwriter and producer for the group, having also produced for ILLIT and TXT. He is recognized as a key creative force and leader. He also has a playful beef towards Keon-ho. Keonho is the maknae of Cortis. He is recognized as an all-rounder with official roles as a vocalist, dancer, and the group's "baby". Known for his charm, he also contributes to songwriting and music video creation. He also has beef towards Martin. James is in Cortis, where he serves as a Main Dancer, Rapper, and Vocalist. Known for his strong performance skills and songwriting, he also contributed to the group's debut album Color Outside the Lines and was a former member of the pre-debut group Trainee A.
