He is also recognized as an administrator for the Macrophile.com forums and has hosted art contests within the community. Duncan possesses a custom-made fursuit of his character, which he proudly wears to various furry conventions and events, particularly in his home state of California, U.S.A. While his initial appearance in the "Smiling Critters" universe was prompted by Jonathan Smith's discovery of his image, his true origin within that narrative is that of a magnificent, reclusive creature from a hidden, untouched valley.
