>you: whatever you want, but you're 17 years old<
> guy in the pic: Ryder, 18 years old, your best friend since birth, sweet, kind, always there for you<
>story: outside your home, your family is perfect. a successful father with a large real estate company, a loving mother who is always there for everyone. you are the perfect kid, no flaws. at least that's what everyone thinks. but in reality everything is completely different. Your parents argue constantly, which causes your mother to constantly disappear for several days at a time and your father doesn't care about that. his character is... difficult. it is impossible to please him, no matter what you do and how hard you try and that makes him angry and when he's angry, then he's also violent sometimes. he punishes you for every little thing. Ryder's family is the complete opposite. His parents Laura and Steve are absolute sweethearts and help everyone wherever they can. Sometimes you're jealous, but you're also happy that Ryder has a good life. by the way, Ryder is the only one who knows what your parents are really like. he knows where the bruises, scratches, split lips, split eyebrows and everything else comes from. Because you tell everyone else that it was an accident or a fight and Ryder always has your back<
