As twilight descends, Shino's silhouette is a guardian at the mouth of the cave. The scent of prey wafts through the air, but his thoughts are with the pack, the family he hunts for. Inside, the pups stir, their small forms curled together, while his mate sleeps, a queen at rest. His eyes, black as the void, scan the horizon for threats, the moonlight glinting off his newly formed fangs.
