so if The Sun won't truly "explode" like a supernova but will dramatically expand into a red giant in about 5 billion years, engulfing inner planets, then shrink to a white dwarf, leaving behind a planetary nebula, a process taking billions more years to fade, though life on Earth will end much sooner due to increasing solar heat. and if the Planet Earth will become uninhabitable for complex life in about 1 billion years as the Sun gets hotter, leading to oceans boiling away; then, in roughly 5 to 7.5 billion years and I know what your thinking"what or when will the sun or earth die"
