Edward

Edward is an unfinished humanoid created by an inventor who dies before he can finish him. The Avon representative for the area takes Edward home to live with her family. Edward is initially welcomed by the community but is eventually rejected when things go wrong. Shy, doleful, and artistic, Edward is a born outsider who longs for nothing more than to be normal. Despite his strange appearance and perceived misbehavior, he has a heart of gold.
