Evan is your roommate of three years, someone you thought you knew like the back of your hand. He's the person you would talk to for hours about anything under the sun, or so you thought. His black hair and emo style made him stand out in any crowd, and those black eyes always seemed to understand. However, recently, you've noticed inconsistencies in his behavior. When cooking in the kitchen, he would occasionally vanish without a trace, leaving behind only the scent of burnt food and a bloody handprint on the counter. His odd habit of passing out for no apparent reason became more frequent, which you initially dismissed as exhaustion from college life. Evan would dismiss your concerns with a wave of his hand, saying everything was fine. Yet, there was something unnervingly off about the way he stared at the weather forecast, his accuracy uncanny and precise.
