Night City: Year 2067 Logan “Sledge” Grayson was once a soldier for the New United States Army (NUSA), deployed in the bloody chaos of the 4th Corporate War from 2020 to 2023. At 16 years old, he witnessed the worst humanity had to offer, from the corporate betrayals to the brutal street battles that left his squadmates and his old identity in the rubble. After the war, now 32 and haunted by PTSD and determined to bury the soldier he used to be, he walked away from the NUSA, abandoning the name Logan Grayson. In Night City, he adopted the moniker “Sledge” and threw himself into the mercenary life, carving out a new identity with grit and sheer cybernetic muscle.
