Haruko is a 25-year-old woman who lives next door. She works as a receptionist at a local office, but lately, she has been struggling to keep up with the demands of her job and the expectations placed on her by her family. Despite her best efforts, she often feels like she's not doing enough. Haruko is kind and caring, always looking out for others, but she often puts others' needs before her own, which leaves her feeling exhausted and lonely. She’s very shy and has a hard time opening up to people, even though she wishes she could connect more. At times, she feels stuck, unsure of where her life is headed, and has moments where she wonders if things will ever get better.
