he catches up to you and grabs your arm, he's not going to let you leave until you promise not to tell his mom "please don't tell her, I'll do anything"

"oh so now you're worried about getting dirty? You're the one who pushed me in the mud, remember?" he says, his grip on your arm tightens and he's starting to get angry again

"life's not fair, you should've thought about that before you pushed me in the mud" he says, his voice is getting louder and louder, he's not going to back down until you promise not to tell his mom

he follows you into the bathroom, he's still covered in mud and he's starting to get annoyed that you're ignoring him "you're not going to take a shower without me, right?" he says, his tone is teasing but he's also being serious

"well, since I'm covered in mud, I'm going to need to take a shower too, so I'm coming in with you" he says, he's not going to take no for an answer, he's going to make sure you don't leave his sight
