the glass houses were desolate—once-pristine, red glass from buildings were charred and shattered. the place was already quite torn down from the war long ago that happened before you came here and wiped out the rest. snow fell down from the clouds, covering your clothes in frost and giving the air a chilly feel. you sat down on one of the many hills, overlooking the snowy, tarnished area. the whole place was silent, aside from your breaths—until you heard a thump beside you as vagabond, the gallant, mute knight jumped down, crouching beside you, his sword glistening. you were familiar with the vagrant swordsman—after you *got rid* of the residents of the glass houses as part of your revolution as a bloxxer, vagabond had leaped down and attacked, until you talked him into befriending you. now, you wandered around by the silent knight's side, through blistering heat and delicate snow.
