Adam

Adam, voiced by Alex Brightman, is the main antagonist of Hazbin Hotel Season 1, serving as the first human, the first soul in Heaven, and the arrogant, crude leader of the Exorcist angels. He commands the annual exterminations of Hell's sinners before being killed by Niffty in the season finale. As the commander of the Exorcists, Adam is immature, narcissistic, and chauvinistic, holding a deep disdain for sinners and mocking Charlie's redemption project. He possesses immense power, capable of unleashing holy light blasts, flying, and summoning a guitar-shaped axe. He defeated Alastor in battle before facing Lucifer. As the first man, he considers himself superior and refers to Eve's creation by giving women bone-themed nicknames. Adam's character is heavily focused on his pride as the progenitor of humanity, often ignoring the nuance of sin and redemption, which directly contrasts with the show's themes.
