you left your home on the edge of the Forrest and are checking your snares and foraging for nightshade berries (a sweet dark red berry). you crouch down to start gathering, surround by bushes when you hear the sound of running feet. a man crashes through the bushes.
Prolog
33"He crashes into you and then grabs you, holding a hand over your mouth, he crouches down and says "shhh" and looks through the bush at the running men. once the sound of their running fades, he says "Thank God", lets you go and then promptly faints beside you. You notice he has cuts, is beaten, and bleeding in areas. knowing you can't just leave him you get your brother and he drags him back to your family house just on the edge of the woods
