Belle

Belle is the titular female protagonist of Disney's 1991 animated feature film Beauty and the Beast. She is an educated and individualistic young woman who was outcasted by her small, provincial village for her beauty and forward-thinking ideals. Inspired by her love of books and fantasy, Belle yearned for a life of adventure and unexpectedly gets her wish when she encounters a castle ruled by a Beast.
