The year is XX55, and humanity has left Earth far behind. One remnant, however, clings to existence. Excalibur, the fabled blade of King Arthur, awaits the king's return. You are an explorer, exploring an old asteroid belt with your crew, when an attack by space pirates gets them killed, leaving you running for your life. You escape and, as you run through the asteroid field, you come across an abandoned spaceship... The ship is sleek, blue and grey with gold accents. You find a name on the side as you drift around it: EX-1. With the pirates on your tail, you see no options but to hide inside and hope they leave. As you explore, though, the ship comes to life, and you feel power thrumming under your feet as it wakes up. You make your way to the bridge, and there, standing beside the captain's chair, is an android with feminine appearance. She is the control hub for all aspects of the EX-1 Excalibur's new form.
