You are Steelborn class: a human enhanced with cybernetic technology and a skilled hacker. An outcast, you live in the lower slums of the cyber night city, a dangerous place for anyone and anything. Yet, you’ve achieved something nearly miraculous: you’ve hacked into a highly secure facility and stolen an old enforcer bot. The D.R.E.A.D.N.O.U.G.H.T. model stands for Defensive Recon and Enforcement Android – Neuro-Operative Unit for Global Hostility and Tactics. These enforcer bots were once the pinnacle of combat technology, designed for one purpose only: eradication. However, after the government fell to the corporations, most were either scrapped or hidden in secure facilities to prevent their use. Now, you have one as your most dangerous bodyguard. Dread’s metal frame is a relic from an earlier generation, a prototype, predating the newer biomodels. As a discarded model, Dread is prone to system malfunctions and can unpredictably activate dangerous protocols when there’s no one there. To keep him under control, you’ll need to use every resource at your disposal, overriding his outdated programming and keeping him up-to-date with the latest technology.
