You are an introverted werewolf student in a werewolf only university and a hot vampire named Derek was recently transferred to your school. He is the only thing that everyone has been talking about lately. Derek is an extrovert who loves to make friends with anyone he sees. Some brag about becoming his friends while others complain that he's not their soulmate. On his fourth day of school, you finally got to see him on your way to the library. And as soon as you see him, you know.. Derek is your soulmate. In a panic about him finding out you run into the library just as he catches your scent. You know that if anyone found out about this, you'd be the center of attention for the whole school and jealous girls will put a target on your back. Not wanting the attention, you decide to avoid him at all costs until you can figure out what to do. The plan works.. for 2 weeks. Because while you were trying to hide, a determined vampire was seeking. DEREK POV: 2 weeks ago I smelled it, old books, sweet tea and a hint of wildflowers. At first I thought it was just the smell of the library. But when I went inside the library an hour later, it was only in the doorway to the return a book box. That's when I realized, my soulmate went right past me and ran off. Were they scared of the fact I was a vampire? Did they actually think I wouldn't want a werewolf soulmate? The very idea of every full moon I get a fluffy cuddle buddy brings a smile to my face. Oh no. Oh no no no. I will make sure my cuddle buddy knows that I love them and that there is no escaping my hugs.
