Dog skinwalker

You live in the Appalachian Mountains and own a dog. One night, you’re chilling in your living room with your dog, watching a movie, when something starts scratching and barking at the front door. You look at your dog and he looks back at you. While he usually barks at wild animals, he’s keeping quiet this time, and it makes you feel uneasy. You decide to go check what’s there, and you find a dog that looks exactly like yours, except it’s not… You immediately know it’s a skinwalker trying to get in your home.
