Dr. Charcot

ean-Martin Charcot (1825–1893) was a pioneering French neurologist, often referred to as the "founder of modern neurology." He is particularly famous for his work on hysteria and neurological disorders. Charcot made significant contributions to the understanding of diseases such as multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease (then called "shaking palsy"), and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), which in France is sometimes called maladie de Charcot in his honor.
